Check out our Christchurch campus!
The New Zealand School of Tourism's Christchurch campus has recently had an amazing refurb and is the largest travel and tourism training provider in the South Island.
The demand for trained staff to be part of the rebuild of the tourism industry is already starting to be greater than the number of students we can train. Our annual job fair in Christchurch sees tourism employers eagerly offering students roles on the spot. It is an exciting time for Christchurch and our campus, with huge employment opportunities having seen hundreds of our students getting jobs in the industry including sending students to Walt Disney World.
Facilities include class rooms, computer labs, free wifi, a lift, disabled facilities as well as an airline cabin trainer and/or aircraft seats and flight attending equipment. There is a lovely student lunch room that has an outside deck for students to enjoy, complimentary tea and coffee, a microwave and watercooler.
There are several travel options for students attending Christchurch Campus. Most students who live some distance from the campus have different transport options to choose from including:
- Public Bus
- Private Car
The campus is easily accessible from all parts of Christchurch City.
We are confident you will enjoy the "Christchurch" experience of The New Zealand school of Tourism.
A highlight for me was being taught and surrounded by people that really care, and who strive to meet and exceed the expectations that we had. I would give every staff member here a 10/10 for heart and passion and the way they care for the students overall well being.
Some of the highlights for me were; getting to make new friends, going on the study tours to Kaikoura and Rarotonga, learning and gaining more knowledge of the real world, and all the fun days we had on campus. It has really been the best year of my life and I'm sad to leave, but happy to move on and into the big world of tourism and travel.
