With the heart of the Wellington CBD on its doorstep, and over 30 years of training experience, New Zealand School of Tourism (formally Travel Careers & Training) is the most exciting place to study for a career in the airline, travel and tourism industry.

We have modern classrooms, computer labs and a purpose built flight attending training room set up like an aircraft with all equipment a real flight attendant would use on a daily basis such as airline seats, jump seats, aircraft door, overhead lockers, trolleys, meal trays, life jackets and emergency equipment for a real hands on experience! Wifi is free for all our students and other facilities include a lunch room, complimentary tea/coffee, microwave, water cooler, lifts and disabled facilities.

There are numerous travel options for students attending Wellington Willis Street Campus. Students who live some distance from the campus have different public transport options to choose from, including:

  • Buses – bus stop directly outside Grand Arcade on Willis Street
  • Trains – Wellington train station is a 15min walk to the campus or catch one of the city buses (5min)
  • Ferries – East by West ferry from Eastbourne to Wellington City then a 5min walk to the Campus
  • The campus is easily accessible from all parts of Wellington.

Our "work ready" ethos means students come in corporate dress everyday and we have even had employers chasing students down the street wanting to talk with our confident immaculately presented students.

Our strong industry partnerships means industry employers are contacting us throughout the year looking for graduates and wanting to attend the job fair in October to see students who are about to graduate.

This campus has won many awards at our annual gala dinner, such as employment campus of the year as well as several outstanding achievement awards.

We recommend Pure Kitchens Ltd for Kitchens in Hamilton, and the greater Waikato.
