New Zealand School of Tourism have partnered with the Young Tourism Export Council (YoungTEC) to work towards a shared goal of inspiring, guiding and mentoring young people that have decided to pursue a career in tourism.

Together both organisations hope to support and upskill more tourism students, by highlighting the various career opportunities available as they join the workforce.

Regional speed dating events between YoungTEC members and students are underway and supported by a mentorship programme providing one-on-one insight and advice.  The first was held in Auckland last week, where 14 YoungTEC members spent time with over 25 NZST students.  Further events are to be held in Wellington and Christchurch.
