Current conditions required to be eligible for a work placement with Disney World are:

• You are a citizen of New Zealand or Australia and be at least 18 years of age when interviewed
• Have completed a minimum of 32 weeks of training before you start work at Walt Disney
• Are able to start within 12 months of course Completion
• Understand that you must exit the United States upon completion of your internship
• No criminal convictions

Be responsible for all costs such as:

• Airfares to Florida and return
• Disney Visa fee is only $240 NZD plus the cost of getting to the US Consulate in Auckland for an interview
• Programme assessment fee of $550 NZD which also includes two weeks of rent
• Sevis fee: $50 NZD
• Medical Insurance ($75-125 USD per month)

To be eligible for us to recommend and endorse you to Disney prior to your interview with the recruiter from Disney World you must have:

• Met the minimum attendance requirements
• Successfully gained, or be on track to gain, the qualification from New Zealand School of Tourism
• Have the enthusiasm and people skills to ensure every Disney Guest experiences the magic
• New Zealand School of Tourism does not guarantee offers as it is subject to suitability, availability of roles and visa conditions which may change without notice by either the US Government or the sponsor organisation.

Approximately 100 graduates from New Zealand School of Tourism go each year to Walt Disney World.
